Phoenix Attitude Inc. (“Phoenix Attitude” or “We”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of the personal information that you input and store in our web-based Medical & Motivation service (the “Website”). Through the Website, we offer our users (which includes “you”) a secure, online tool to manage your own personal health information.

This Privacy Statement sets out the way in which we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information.

Guiding Principles

We built the Website using the concept of Privacy by Design, which is a universally accepted international standard for privacy protection. It is based on the following seven foundational privacy principles that focus on proactively building privacy directly into our Website and our business practices:

  1. Principle 1 – Proactive not Reactive; Preventative not Remedial
  2. Principle 2 – Privacy as the default
  3. Principle 3 – Privacy embedded into design
  4. Principle 4 – Full functionality – Positive Sum not Zero Sum
  5. Principle 5 – End-to-end lifecycle protection
  6. Principle 6 – Visibility and Transparency
  7. Principle 7 – Respect for user privacy

You can find more information about these principles at: http://www.privacybydesign.ca/index.php/about-pbd/7-foundational-principles/. Collection & Use of Personal Information
